With AIP, different control systems, HMI / SCADA components or displays can be coupled via communication modules (agents). AIP supports the management of alarms, events, messages and malfunctions, as well as their further processing and analysis. If an alarm, message or error occurs in the IT environment related to the process, the AIP agent generates a command with all the necessary information for further processing in the portal. AIP allows easy definition of the delivery chain thus ensuring that the alarm is delivered to the various recipients. Sources of error can therefore be minimized.

Custom configuration

For each alarm or command managed by AIP you can freely define how to treat it. Processing is performed using the workflow engine, through which different processes are performed and can be modulated. First the relevant service unit is determined, which results in the level, group or person - depending on the staff it is available. If this step is completed, a transmission medium can be chosen, with the corresponding recipient, for forwarding. If the selected recipient is not available after a definable delay, other people can be notified via the escalation settings (chain of command). Additionally, there is also an alarm deactivation for service purposes e.g. to ensure that unnecessary alarms are not generated.

Multiple transmission media

Safe delivery of the order to the correct recipient is guaranteed by the integration of various means of transmission. The reports can be sent as text or in computer generated language (speech synthesis) so recognition is possible up to the PLC levels. Even when operating personnel are not present in the control room, it is possible to permanently monitor the system system with AIP. Therefore, AIP provides information on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, through its transmission media. A native app for the Android operating system, enables the reception of alarms that allow acknowledgment. The service teams therefore have the opportunity to align and optimize operating times. It is also possible to receive an acknowledgment down to the control system. The full function of the app is also available as a desktop variant on Microsoft operating systems. In addition, sending of voice messages via VoIP connection is supported.

Full language support

The product is available in the languages: German, English, Italian, Spanish and French. The same applies to the high quality speech synthesis engine which is integrated into the system and which can automatically apply alarm messages from the control center.
